ISTC RUSSKY

INNOVATIVE SCIENTIFIC & TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER IN NATURE

ISTC RUSSKY is a new hub of innovative scientific and technological center situated at Russky Island in the far east of Russia at the Sea of Japan (East Sea). Despite the large floor space of the development, all timber structured building volumes are segmented into small pieces with kept low heights that contribute to minimizing the environmental, as well as the visual, impact of the project on the surrounding nature.
Courtyard/patio-based building typology perfectly provides comfortable and intimate environments within the windy region.
